Context

  • Protein bars needed to be cut to precise lengths on a moving conveyor line; manual cutting was inconsistent and slow.

My role

  • I built the software and electrical system for a configurable machine that synchronizes a blade to conveyor speed in real time.
  • Dave Friedman designed and built the mechanical structure.
