Concrete Dumbbells
Homemade dumbbells cast from concrete, PVC, and 3D printed stencils.

Motivation
- During the pandemic, gym equipment prices spiked. Standard dumbbells were selling for $3-4 per pound, so buying a set was hard to justify.
Approach
- I cast dumbbells from concrete and PVC using 3D-printed stencils to center the handles in the molds.
- The finished set has held up for years of regular use with no cracking or handle slip.
